Move money.
Not secrets.

Wallets, lending, and payments apps hold the keys to real money. Nandee reads every build for the flaws that turn into fraud, and maps each finding to the standards your auditors and partner banks ask about.

class CheckoutViewModel { fun charge(pan: String, amt: Money) { Log.d("checkout", "card=$pan") api.charge(pan, amt) .onSuccess { receipt() } } private fun receipt() { screen.show(Receipt.from(lastTxn)) } } The full card number, in the device log. FIX · CHECKOUTVIEWMODEL.KT HIGH - Log.d("checkout", "card=$pan") + last four only, debug builds only

What we look for in fintech apps

Where mobile money
usually leaks.

  • Card data

    Card numbers where they shouldn't be

    In logs, caches, screenshots, app-switcher snapshots, and the clipboard.

  • Sessions

    Tokens that outlive the user

    Sessions that survive logout, and transfers that skip re-authentication.

  • Client-side trust

    Rules enforced only on the phone

    Transfer limits, fees, and verification flags an attacker can simply skip.

  • Transport

    Payment traffic in the clear

    Skipped certificate checks and weak TLS on banking and payment APIs.

  • Secrets

    Partner keys in the build

    Processor and banking-as-a-service credentials shipped inside the app.

  • Third parties

    SDKs that see too much

    Analytics and support SDKs that capture balances, account numbers, or screens.

Compliance

Findings in the language
your auditor speaks.

OWASP MASVSEvery finding is mapped to a MASVS control, so your report reads like the standard.
PCI DSS v4.0Scan history and fix records support Requirement 6, developing and maintaining secure software.
SOC 2A dated trail of what was found, who fixed it, and when, for vulnerability and change management.
Partner bank reviewsA clear answer when your sponsor bank asks how you test the mobile app.

Nandee supports your compliance work. It doesn't certify it, and it isn't a substitute for your assessor.

Example finding

A debug line with a PCI problem.

HighSAST + DASTMASVS-STORAGE-2 · CWE-532payments/CheckoutViewModel.kt:88

Full card number written to the device log

The checkout flow logs the primary account number on every charge. DAST saw it in the release build's log output. Anything that can read the log, or any crash report that captures it, gets the card.

Before
87  fun charge(pan: String, amt: Money) {
88    Log.d("checkout", "card=$pan amt=$amt")
89    api.charge(pan, amt)

Sixteen digits, in plain text.

Suggested fix
87  fun charge(pan: String, amt: Money) {
88    if (BuildConfig.DEBUG)
89      Log.d("checkout", "card ending ${pan.takeLast(4)}")
90    api.charge(pan, amt)

Last four, debug builds only.

What fintech teams use most

Fair questions.

Does Nandee make us PCI compliant?

No tool can. Nandee finds and fixes mobile security issues and keeps the evidence. Your assessor still does the assessment.

Do you need real card data to test?

No. Use your sandbox environment and test cards. Point us at your payment provider's sandbox (Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, and others) and we'll use their published test card numbers. We never need, and won't accept, real cardholder data.

Is this a replacement for our annual pentest?

It's what happens between pentests. Every build gets read, so the annual report has less to find.

Ship the feature. Keep the audit quiet.
